The article highlights  4 brave individuals who  shared their personal financial stories. The article was in the Daily News and it hits home because it’s from my home town of New York City. The Pension problem is the biggest crisis we will see in our life times and we need to have more discussions about it.

In this video I discuss the Stash Invest Platform. Stash Invest allows individuals to get started with a minimum $5.00 investment. However they only give you a one month trial period and they they charge you a percentage of your assets invested. Those who have smaller balances are penalize more than someone who has a $2,500.00 dollar balance. It does provide some education and piggy backs on the 401k concept. But if you are looking for a platform that could provide a better value for your limited income to invest/save then I would recommend the Acorn investing platform.

In this video I discuss as simply as I can the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum. I explain how they are both free market solutions and definitely geared for the information age. However if I had to choose between the two I explain in the video that Ethereum may be the better choice. One reason is the price point of Ethereum currently and the smart contract concept.

In this video I discuss debt, in particular Debt Settlement Companies. I point out there is two things you should know about your Credit and a Debt Settlement Company  Any amount that they settle for or forgive will be counted against you as earned income. There is no guarantee the creditor you are trying to settle with will take less. The last time I checked the rules that they made for the banks and Bankers don’t go to jail and bankers get bailed out. So remember these two things when you are thinking about using a Debt Settlement company.

Many who receive Social Security make up the middle class making this a huge issue. These are your parents, grandparents who once squeezed will be a financial burden to all who come after them.
